Pixel 3XL and Uconnect Issues

It makes me happy to know that googles flagship is of equal quality to my Iphone x/ carplay. Its almost as if since there is literally no money on the line that these corporations don't care. Don't worry, they will assign an intern on it and in a few years it might start working.

I found a way around this. If you plug in the Pixel 3 you notice the charge on the battery come on and then shut off. If you unplug it three times and plug it in quickly, it will stay on. YOU have to plug it in lightning fast though before the phone realizes that it's been unplugged. Granted we shouldn't have to do this...but it works.

I gave up on the USB C to C and switched to USB A to C and now connects every time but slow charge

Pixel 3 had an update this morning. I can confirm that the update fixed my charging and USB-C cable charging issues

So much for pixels to get quick updates. I have a pixel 3 and am still waiting .Hope it fixes it for me too .

My pixel 3 works fine as far as AA is concerned. But, everytime I start my vehicle ( no usb connected - bluetooth only) the Uconnect phone app doesn't have my contacts listed. To get my contacts to show up I have delete my phone from the Uconnect and pair my phone again. It's a real PITA. Is this an issue with my 8.4 Uconnect, or do I have a bluetooth setting on my Pixel 3 messed up?

I've swapped out my 3XL for a 4a awhile back. It was still pretty buggy early on but now the phone and Uconnect and AA are playing well toghether, like they should. I've been really pleased with it for probably the last 8 months or so.
