22 unlimited Willys. Just got the perf limited warning during sudden deceleration.

I get 22mpg with super careful driving. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I bought this from Gupton, but live in AZ. Anybody know how lemon law works if you purchased out of state?

Last year I did the lemon law on a 2022 Ford Latiat FX4 Ranger. Live in Nevada and purchased in Texas. Lemon law in my experience is where case is filed. Subject of purchase state never came up.

In general you need 60 days minimum in shop for repair of same item or 3x visits for repair of same item.

my last 3500 miles i'm avg 19.5.

This morning though after filling up with Cosco 91 my mileage sucked. like under light acceleration i saw 5-7 mpg. Tire psi was at 35.

Going 75 on flat highway and i saw about 18 when i used to see well into 22+.

Got the message once this morning early on in my drive. Related ? I have no idea but will continue to monitor.

Had this happen to me for the first time this past weekend too. First instance was transitioning from light acceleration > coasting > braking, and second was transitioning from hard acceleration > braking. No issues with MPG, no CEL, no codes. Definitely seems, at least in my case, like a timing thing triggering the software to pop an error when everything's actually OK.

What were you running to get 22+ mpg? Getting no better than 19 mpg running 89 octane and 17.5 mpg running 87 octane. Stock 22 JLUR.

Same thing in my case. After seeing the error, my MPG tanked down to 13 MPG until I cleared all codes and reset the ECU. It's back up to about 16.5 around town driving again.

Cleared what codes? This error produces no CEL and no stored codes. If you have codes stored you're having an issue other than what the rest of us are having regarding this error.

I also did send all this to jeep cares and the response was disheartening to say the least.

" our team is very limited in any assistance we can provide you if the Jeep is not at the dealership or currently undergoing repairs. "

I can only imagine owner's frustrations with bigger issues.

You have no idea LOL!!! Jeep Cares was the most worthless thing I experienced, aside from the service department's handling of my original 2018 JLU.

I'm really hoping Jeep pulls their heads out of their butts, figures this out, and fixes it across the board for anyone seeing it. It *has* to be a software glitch or a bad part across the 2022s.

You are right. I should have said I went through the motion of clearing all codes via JScan. And then reset all ECUs.

Abnormal for me but i ran my tank down to about 20 miles of range left and noticed the error coming up more frequently.

Once just exiting the interstate at 75. I just let off the gas and the error popped up. No braking. I was at 1/4 tank.

Another time shortly after coming to a gentle stop.

After filling up, those same circumstances do not cause the error. Only under hard braking after accelerating.

I still think this has something to do with the tank or evap system.

I have experienced the same issue 4-5 times with my '22 JLUR 2.0T and once in the last week with now over 7900 miles. I notice it when I am coming to stop and it clears within a few seconds. Have noticed no issues in actual performance.

The one time I saw it, I was also “low” on fuel. I’m wondering if the fuel pickup in the tank might be getting exposed to air briefly, gets a few air bubbles in the line, and that triggers the event ?

Welp my Wrangler cut off twice today with this message on screen. This is the sixth or seventh time it has completely shut off with the “Performance Limited Service Fuel System” message, this is the 3rd attempt from the dealership at fixing the issues. I just want it fixed so that i can enjoy my jeep. Glad to see most of you are only experiencing the message and not the drivability issues.
