I've recently picked up a gremlin with my passive entry not working. Touching the front doors or tailgate no longer unlocks the Jeep. Using the button on the fob does. Once in the Jeep, pressing the START button results in "Key Fob not Detected". Holding the fob to the button works, as does holding the fob against the top of either B-Pillar. (That is where two of the antennas for the RKE exist.)

I pulled the HVAC and PDU/window switch cluster and the antenna and leads (where I can see them) seem fine. I may have had a critter take up residence in the Jeep for a week or two and chewed a lead deeper in the dash. Does anyone know where the control module is mounted? I'm loath to deconstruct the entire dash in winter weather. I've started to have the weird "replace the green CAN BUS" gremlins. Would the wiring for the antenna run through this bus?

Error codes pulled from the Taser:
PTS B1297-25 (dirty parking sensor)
RHF B1A10-00 U1A74-13 (I can't find anything about the second code)
BCM U113B-00 P113E-00 (The first might be the orange wire on my AUX switch bank; I need to look at it; the second is an O2 sensor?).

Could it be a key fob battery? Try everything with the spare key.

Other fob do the same? This sounds like a fob battery issue.

Hmmm. You could pull the trim piece off where your push button and climate control is. The RF module is under there and the push start module as well. Maybe reseat wiring?

Yup, did that this morning when I checked the antenna module and its connector. I’ve ordered up a replacement green CAN BUS connector and will see if that’s the issue.

Yup. Replaced both beginning of the year.
