Parking brake assembly

Hello all.
I bought a rubicon rear axle used with no shafts or brakes (for my JLU sport). I bought new parking brake assembly item number 68249593AA but would not fit even though fitment says 2018-2021 wranglers sport or rubicon…
Does anyone know if it’s 68299457AA? Says specifically for rubicon models only..
any help would be appreciated!

I did the same thing
Bought a used rear Dana 44 e-locker to replace my 44 on my 2020 Willys
It also has no backing plates or axles
I found a set of used Rubicon axles put did not realize they have a larger ABS tone ring until I went to put it in
I could see that the ABS tone rings where different
On the Rubicon E-locker the tone ring has a larger OD and the ABS sensor will hit the tone ring
I was assuming also that the 68299457AA backing plate was the answer put they are back ordered
Can you tell me why the 68299457AA did not fit and did you find the solution

Did you find an answer to this? My 2020 Willy’s got a rubicon bare axle as well. Found shafts and put it in tonight and realized I did not plan on this. Backing plates are different. Did your Willy’s caliper bracket and caliper bolt up and brake rotor. Or did you have to replace all of this stuff as well?

Ok just looked up in Dealer Connect for mine and used the vin of the rubicon that I got my diff out of. And it is saying. That 68299457AA is the correct part
