Hello all. I bought a rubicon rear axle used with no shafts or brakes (for my JLU sport). I bought new parking brake assembly item number 68249593AA but would not fit even though fitment says 2018-2021 wranglers sport or rubicon… Does anyone know if it’s 68299457AA? Says specifically for rubicon...

Already did... they told me “this isn’t a design flaw” and that there’s a drain tube and filter to catch anything that may intrude that gap and “if your JL is that deep you are well over the water fording capabilities of the Jeep”. I haven’t got a response back when I told them it doesn’t matter...

After having it for a week or so I noticed a few things. 1) The hose closer to the inlet gets pressed by the hood. Don’t think it matters but something to keep an eye on. 2) What I consider a fairly large gap at the bottom of the high mount where the gasket meets the fender. For $600 of plastic...

I did. I did it with my bumper and winch installed and it was a pain. My assumption is that it would be in the way of the drain tube.

I plan to switch it Saturday to take some pictures. I havent drivin it more than more than a couple miles. I will let you know tomorrow, I commute about 20miles one way going 70-75
