Paint Corrosion - URGENT HELP!!

@JeepCares I purchased my 2019 JLU new and the extended paint coverage warranty will be expiring next month.

I’ve had it in for paint repairs twice already and just found a new spot. I’m concerned that this is going to continue and I’m not going to be able to afford to fix it in the future. They have only done spot repairs at the certified Jeep dealership In taking it to and aren’t doing total repaint on the pieces. I’ve had spots repaired on all four doors, right front fender, hood left and right and now there’s new corrosion on the tailgate. Are there any conditions where Jeep will repaint the entire vehicle?

I’ve even considered selling it to get a new one but there isn’t verification that the corrosion won’t happen on the new vehicles. It would break my heart to sell it, but I can’t afford to fix corrosion if it continues to happen. Please help!

If they are just sanding and painting corrosion that has formed along the edges of the doors, hood, tailgate etc it will come back in short order. New TSB requires panel replacement not refinish. Take it back for the new corrosion and have them inspect for corrosion on the inside seems of the doors, hood, tailgate and even the windshield frame. If there is corrosion along the seams (aka the hem flange)the panel should be replaced, not refinished.
