Just a warning. When you do sign the final paper work be sure to check the pricing is correct. When the financing department finished the deal, the wrong price was listed but I did not catch it until I was home the next day. If I had not double checked the numbers I would have been out some money.
the problem I had was when they take you to sign the final paperwork it’s basically on a big iPad and it’s very hard to follow the numbers compared to seeing it on paper and being able to look through it at your own pace.

I ordered my JL with Mitch on Thursday 2/8. Looks like im probably one of the last to get an order in with him before his departure. He was great to deal with. Im still in the "Order Confirmed" stage.

Same thing happened to me when I was completing the final paperwork back in September (right when the UAW strike happened). Sales and Finance managers were complaining about my forum deal and how they were "losing" money. The difference ended up being a couple hundred of dollars. I had a great buying experience until running into the games the managers were playing. Mitch was transparent with me throughout the whole process and even reinforced the price protection when I was going back and forth with the sales manager.

My guess was that the dealership was worried about the strike and thought that since I was a local buyer they would be able to hold me at the dealership longer (ended up taking 4 hours to finalize the paper work). They also weren't happy with the trade in (amount was agreed and confirmed prior to pick up by their used car manager). There were confusion with the minimum financing amount too. Ultimately problems and errors committed by the dealership that really shouldn't have been my problem.

I wonder if they didnt think many people would go to them for those deals. They are a high volume dealer so they'd make their money from walk-ins or people that will just order without knowing deals are there.

Same issue. Everything was lined up before I arrived. Still took many hours to get me out the door. Price errors was almost 1k and they also reduced my trade in value. Financing process was a bad experience. Also took almost a month to rectify the price discrepancy. The deal and price protection made with Mitch was great though.

The purchase price was wrong. It was the top line on the bill of sale.

On mine they show the MSRP (96k) but the price adjustment down shows the 84k which is what Mitch had said, based on what you are saying with trade has me nervous, as they are showing the value at the top end even though they have the miles for my trade I feel like it could go sideways based on what I am hearing. I hope it doesnt but Ill be alert to everything. Hopefully I can sign most of the stuff before I get there.

Do you guys have an agreed upon MSRP with an invoice price when you ordered with Mitch. Reason I ask is he said they don't know the invoice price until the vehicle ships, but I would get 7% below invoice whatever that is. Seemed vague to me, but I was going on his reputation as a straight shooter. Now that he's gone, sounds like the deal may not be the deal?

Anyone have Jason's email? I emailed [email protected] couple days ago and no reply.

From my convos with Mitch, they had their eyes on beating Koons with factory orders. Even though they might be "losing" money with the factory orders, they had other kick backs/incentives

Mitch gave me a break down from msrp and 7% and 8% under, 96k-84 is about 11k under msrp which like 10% when you look at it like that.

That's pretty f'd up. Normally dealerships give the exact price and lock it in. It's pretty damn common for prices to rise before you get it.

When I ordered from Chapman, that person who was running the forum deals gave me an invoice price but it had went up a few hundred when the actual invoice came in
