At this point, if you have an order in, it's probably wise to just consider yourself lucky that you have an order in at all, and to strap in for a long wait. There are thousands of people waiting for vehicle builds right now, and order banks are closing off features and packages with seemingly no warning almost weekly.

You honestly haven't been waiting that long. I ordered a non-XR 392 12/16 and it's in transit to the dealer now. Any quicker seems pretty rare these days.

The whole ordering thing makes no sense to me, I ordered in January and it arrived at the dealer in April. I was told when I ordered it 6 to 8 months, even the dealer was surprised when it showed up, I was in the dealer 2 days before it arrived and they didn't have a clue when it would show up. Cryptostickers never showed a window sticker until after I had the Jeep and even then I didn't get notified about the sticker being available.

Hell, I got that days after I ordered. VIN doesn’t mean crap in Jeep’s system. Assuming there IS a system. Could be chimpanzees throwing darts at a board for all I can tell.
