It seems the percentage of folks on this forum with out the door quality issues is pretty high with the JL. Starting to wonder if buying a 2018 isn't a really bad idea...

I am not too worried.

they will get it fixed. There will eventually be recalls (there always is). the good news is the ZF8 is a tried and true transmission, and the Pentastar v6 is also tried and true.

in the end, I am sure I will get a vehicle that works the way it was supposed to.

Jeep chat just told me the ETA needs to be updated. Couldn't give me a status. I asked if it was still in "I" and he just said the ETA should be updated later today. He wouldn't clarify after interrogating him for specifics. I'm hoping the fact yours is in KZ, means mine is right behind it.

Guarantee they were waiting on mine. Hopefully they load'em up and head this way now.

Having had a 2012 JK and suffered 227 days of service the first 3 years, I'm not so sure.

And Tragedy has struck. They cannot give me my wrangler today since the 4WD light is stuck on even when it isnt in 4WD. Basically my jeep has failed its inspection.... :'(

Was told that FCA technicians will be working on it, and they do not have any other updated....
..... hopefully I can pick it up soon.....

I totally agree. Hopefully it will turn out to be something very simple like a stupid sensor that wasn't seated properly.

My delivery date keeps getting delayed. First it was 01/19-01/27, then it was 01/31-01/05, now it's 02/05-02/09. They are making me crazy.

You can track it! just look at post #1 every day. It will change when tracking is opened back up. You don't have to to read everything in hopes of catching when Jay says it is open.

Not a big deal. I still follow along with everyone. Can't wait until my delivery. When ever that may be.
