ORDER TRACKING for your Jeep Wrangler

Waiting for it to actually get to you is terrible. 1 week ago mine left the plant and I am waiting with no word on where it is or when it will arrive. The ETA date keeps shifting. I can not believe that for a process like this Jeep does not have a better way of keeping track of shipped vehicles. Seems like a very inefficient method. Especially today with computers and chips for tracking etc.....

Mines been stuck only 2 hours away for over ten days now , only by being pushed back 3 days at a clip ... such bs

Finally hit KZ ! with a current ETA for delivery to the dealership is 05/12/2018 - 05/16/2018.....can chat see the locations once it leaves the plant or does dealer have to provide updates after that point ? Missed the tracking , had a family emergency during that time

find myself wondering how many of us would click yes on a $100 option at purchase where they throw a tracker chip in the glove box and then give you a tracking site. probably just frustrate you more though. definitively knowing that it isn't moving is better than slight hope that the information is wrong.

But sure would be cool following it on a map when it's transiting

No joke. I read an article about a guy who ordered a GM vehicle and there were rail shipping problems. After week 12 of waiting, GM remotely turned on OnStar so he could watch it crawl toward its destination.

I'm in Ireland now but I recieved this message from my dealership yesterday! I haven't seen able to check the tracking sheet for days.

Man, I wish my dealer was hip enough to text me...I need a minimum of two phone calls and three emails to get him to say anything.

That being said, he is very professional otherwise and made negotiations a breeze.

The Glove box would have to be installed by a vendor off site as the final step before shipping I am sure.......

Right.... Its crazy that they are all being stripped of the ETA when they arrive like the already know its going to be a long wait there......

To the Alorton folks. I mentioned my JLU all the sudden showed up at the dealer 900 miles away from Alorton. I thought maybe they put the Jeep on a truck and shipped it directly down. My dealer said a contact at the rail yard in my area called them and told them a number of JL's for my dealer had shown up via train. They put them all on a truck and sent them over. They had 6 JL's show up in one day. My dealer also mentioned they had 25 custom orders waiting to be delivered.

Bottom line is the tracking showed the Jeep left Alorton the day before the Jeep was at the dealer. It appears the Jeep was not tracked properly in their system, it has no train activity. Below is the progression.

A couple other comments. My dealer had no problem honoring the original pricing prior to the base and destination increase. It was about a 5 second conversation. I did however lose $250 from the Bonus Drive offer. If the Jeep was purchased prior to April 1, it was a $500 reimbursement. April 1 and after it was only $250. It was also funny to watch the countless people stop at the Jeep and wanting to buy it. Rubicons are apparently few and far between.
