Install the winch to the bumper before you put the bumper on. The bumper has 2 sets of holes for the winch. Install the winch in the holes farthest out (to the front). It might rub against the bumper, but the back holes will make the winch hit the grill. Also be sure to install the control...
A couple other comments. My dealer had no problem honoring the original pricing prior to the base and destination increase. It was about a 5 second conversation. I did however lose $250 from the Bonus Drive offer. If the Jeep was purchased prior to April 1, it was a $500 reimbursement...
To the Alorton folks. I mentioned my JLU all the sudden showed up at the dealer 900 miles away from Alorton. I thought maybe they put the Jeep on a truck and shipped it directly down. My dealer said a contact at the rail yard in my area called them and told them a number of JL's for my dealer...
To my Alorton friends, dreams really do come true. Just showed up at the dealer on Thursday. It felt like forever, but I guess 75 days total is not that bad compared to many. His and hers.
I can't believe it. After 75 days my JLU showed up at the dealer.. I pick it up tomorrow. It shipped direct on truck from Alorton, IL down to Houston, which is over 1,000 miles in a day and a half... I'm shocked.

Latest tracking on my Jeep is it went "gate out" of Alorton yesterday at 12:17 pm. I have no idea where it is headed, but at least I have movement. It was there for 15 days.
I have had a '17 Raptor for a year now. I traded in a Shelby Cobra for the Raptor. I was really worried I would be disappointed with the performance, but honestly, I have not looked back. The Raptor is the best vehicle I have ever owned. So comfortable and so many features. It is tall and...
It is a storage yard. Mine sat there for 21 days. It moved from there as JB and changed to KZ and was shipped to a new storage lot 500 miles closer to it's final destination. It has been there for 14 days and counting.
Mine is sitting there as well. I looked on another sites historical tracking information and it appears last year vehicles were sent there and most were there for 3-4 weeks. I hope this is not the case for ours. I have been there for 9 days. This of course is after sitting for over a month...
What in the world? This has to be a joke. Of all the threads on this forum, this by far is the best. Finally got to laugh at what I was reading instead of wondering where my ordered JLU was.
My JLU Rubicon ordered 2-3 arrived in Alorton on 4-4. Final destination is Houston. They are probably sitting together. Maybe they will stick them on a truck and truck them down. Only 775 miles away compared to the original Toledo 1,231 miles away. At least they are headed in the right...
Has anyone seen this before.
After my Jeep was built, it sat in Toledo for a while, it was moved to Swanton and sat there for a while, it was moved back to Toledo for another week, then shipped to Detroit where it has been since 4-4.
Any idea why it went to Detroit? Supposed to be coming down...
I can't believe it. 2 months since D1 status, my dealer called and told me my JLU Rubi with dual tops has been loaded on a train today. Tracking shows it was "gate out" of Toledo last night. I sure hope this is true.
