After installing both RCV and the Dana’s. The last thing you want to do on the trail is swap out the RCV. The Dana’s will take maybe 30 minutes to swap them out and you won’t be covered in black grease. Next is that boot, it’s such a pain to remove and install the RCV boot just to get it to clear the opening.

I would opine you would damage the boot, but at that point it probably would not matter...

That’s true but I haven’t seen an rcv on stock hp break that needs a trail replacement, I’m sure someone has but I’ve not seen it
