Sad but true (and to be clear, my post was entirely tongue-in-cheek).

20 years ago my company was looking into providing electronic data exchange services; it's a bit sad after all this time that we're still stuck with paper shuffling as a primary mode of business operations, but at least we haven't eliminated all jobs everywhere, so there's some upside.
