So if you can generate a code same day as sign up, what mechanism is in place at the dealer level that makes sure you can’t use it unless you’ve been a member >=30 days?
You get a physical packet in the mail in 3-4 weeks after signing up and it contains a "membership letter" that you must present to the dealership and which shows your membership start date. Getting that letter and later presenting that paper at time of pick-up (along with your generated code, a separate thing) is part of the process. From what I've read here, the dealers who honor the Affiliate discount all seem to be well aware of FCA's 30-day membership requirement so I presume they would look for your membership start date on the letter that you must present.

I thought you could not pull the the control number unless you have been a member for 30 days or more but the previous comments show that is not the case. But even if you get one you much show the dealer your membership letter which is how they verify your membership length.

I'm pretty sure I just sent my dealer the control number. I never went to the dealership I bought it from, so there was no opportunity to present the letter. I live in CO, dealer is in KY, picked it up in MI.

Good deal, long as you got the discount, my Jeep is about to come in and I have letter showing over 30 day membership length.

Long story short, Im expecting to take delivery of my 2024 392 before end of year. It got mark shipped today. If I register and pay $100 for treadlightly, will I be able to use the code? I see this:

Please note that according to FCA US policy, you must be an individual $100 member for at least 30 days to qualify for the FCA US Affiliate Rewards new vehicle discount and you must provide a copy of your membership letter to your dealer to use the discount.

Did I wait too long here?
30 days is 30 days, do the math.

Have you checked to see if your current employer is an affiliate? You can check here: https://www.fcausaffiliates.com/

I’m not trying to tell people not to sign up for Tread Ligthly as it’s a good cause, but if you’re signing up purely for the discount, you might be able to save the $100 and not have to wait for 30 days if your employer already participates.
