its been a sad month so far with no talk on wheeling. what's up with that. LOL. How's everyone looking for DEC? or even early Jan. I am currently working on maintenance and a small upgrade on the jeep the next couple weeks. Adding 3.5" springs and finishing up the upper control arms that I have had for months. got the rears in before rocky gap but now that i am adding the bigger springs the front arms need to be installed and then i can get it realigned. once thats all done we need to get out and wheel / test the parts out

At some point I do want to get a group to try Bronco Peak down at Corral Canyon. I know that's a bit of a haul for you though so maybe combine that with a camping trip.

The San Bernardino National Forest has several off-roading closures, including:



Holcomb Valley OHV Road
Only the 11 miles from the Crab Flats Campground junction to Forest OHV Road 3N56 are open to non-street legal vehicles.
Line Fire closure
The entire Front Country and Mountaintop Ranger districts are closed to the public from September 20 to November 30, 2024. This includes off-highway vehicle trails, forest service roads, and campgrounds.
Fire and recreational shooting restrictions
Forest Order No. 05-12-00-24-06 is in effect from July 2, 2024 to January 15, 2025.

We got some snow yesterday. We'll see how that affects things.

Looks like the Corral Canyon Campground is open. We can always do a Friday campout (12/13) and wheel on Saturday (12/14). Those that want to do a challenging route can do Sidewinder - those that want to do a really challenging route can do Bronco Peak. Let me know if people are feeling this and I can start a new thread.

I haven’t. Need to install the lift and measure it so I can order one. But it’s not high priority as the stock drive shaft should be fine with a 3.5” lift form what I was reading

Really? I thought even 2.5” will start to cause issues. Thats what MC says. Or maybe if you have long travel shocks.
