Oil Cooler Leak/Replacement

Has anyone had an oil cooler replaced by a dealer under warranty?
I'm wondering if this item is covered by either the three or five year warranty?
If you did, what was your experience?

Question about this leak. ~55k miles. Took mine in for a reflash on something else and had them look at the leak that has started on top of the passenger side valve cover. They claimed that the oil cooler had to be replaced. Below is where the leak is. Quoted me about $1500 but im not sure I buy that.

Could this be related?

Wow. I asked about if it was covered under the warranty, and the service guy said it wasnt for me. I might have to ask a couple other people then and see if I am getting the whole story.

They are treating as an extended warranty where I pay the $200 deductible. I have been several times for oil smell and leak. They added dye and couldn't find anything. After our trip to WV it was obvious and that was their compromise. 65k miles.

The oil cooler is not covered by powertrain warranty, but dealerships can squeeze things in that shouldn’t otherwise be covered.

Hmm. Interesting, thanks for the feedback. So basically I need to push a little bit to try and make something happen lol.

It seems like this thread is pretty accurate to the issue I am having. Thoughts on that issue?
