Thank you all for your wonderful advice, It was a very nerve racking experience at points but overall it was very very enjoyable and I look forward to building my jeep up and hitting the trails more!

And the bumpers, skids, gears, winches, compressors, lights, 3 different tops :)
3 different tops hits close to home...

My Jeep came with the Hard Top, then I bought a TrekTop... Then I sold the TrekTop and bought a Premium Soft Top so I didn't have to give up cargo space for Florida Road Trips now. lol

Nope. I told myself I was going to keep my Jeep stock when I bought it... Now I have a tendency to just snatch up Rubi takeoffs.

Coming up at Hells Revenge. Best advice I have, ride as a passenger with a guide! In the tour operators Rubicon!! As I did! :)
That video is probably one of the best demonstrations of the SFA I've seen.

I'm not sure if this was already covered but learning where my tires are has been a tremendous help when off-roading and placing tires on rocks, etc.
While you're parked, sit in the driver's seat and have a friend stand out in front of your Jeep to indicate where the centre of each front tire is on the ground (an extended tape measure works great). Then get them to come closer to the Jeep until you see their indicator (tape measure, stick, etc.) start to disappear behind the edge of your hood. Make a mental picture of this spot on the hood and remember it ("next to outer corner of hood vent", etc.) as it will be different for each driver.
I hope this helps (and who said the Rubicon hood vents weren't functional?!)
