Hello fellow jeepers,i am considering buying dual a-pillar mounts on my jeep.I will install Lazerlamps utility 50 (floodlight 5000 lumens per light ) + lazerlights RP spot 8940 (spotlight 8940 lumens per light)per side of the car ,my question is, is it a good combo? Flood + spot. I want to keep it kind if minimal.
And also if i install them next to each other be a good option? Any hood glares? And also i would like to install them myself how easy is to do that?
I do moderate off-roading.
thanks guys

If the lights come with a wire harness it’s usually pretty simple plug and play. If you have factory Jeep AUX switches that makes the process easier and saves running wires through the firewall.
I have flood/spot combos on my JKs A pillar but have always found the hood glare to be a bit annoying. My lights have the amber backlighting and I do use that function a lot while traveling forest roads so I show up better for oncoming traffic.

I'm using the DV8 mounts (link below) with RIGID spots pointing forward and floods angled to the sides. This allows them to cover a wide area and the spots extend out past my OEM LED bright lights. They are fantastic, I love them. They really light things up! I have them wired in to one of my factory AUX switches. I initially had some hood glare but once I got them aligned right, that went away.
