I want to start off with the Jeep is driving fine and I don’t feel any binding or difference in steering. The pic below shows the damage. Is this something I need to replace right away or can I wait?

I’d recommend replacing it sooner than later. If you were closer I have a pile of brand new ones in the shop. A relocation would be something good to start studying up on though.

well now is good a time as any to upgrade the stabilizer. As for relocation, I know Metal cloak has one. Any others that are recommended?

Is there any real benefit to spending $200 or more on a stabilizer or is oem or something comparable to oem more than adequate?

As much as I love MC, their tie rod clamp to me leaves a lot to be desired. Steer smart and synergy have a nice relocation bracket and true tie rod clamp. For a stabilizer every build that leaves my shop has at a minimum a fox 2.0 Steering Stabilizer. I’ve been very happy with them and they are at an attractive price point.

Put a Fox 2.0 on it, my dealer even recommends them.

so this stabilizer?

and this Synergy relocation kit?

is there a big improvement to make it worth spending $66 more for this?

Id suggest the first two and the 2.0 TS is a personal preference. My opinion it isn’t needed as the regular 2.0 is great.

@RubiRob has the synergy bolt too. Maybe he can weight in

Thanks for this relocation info. I've got a Fox 2.0 waiting at home till AFTER i get my recall done and then I'll relocate and install the fox putting the "AE" on the shelf.

I'm totally with you on that one. While mechanically functional I know MC can do better. The shiny U-bolts look they belong on a leaf spring block lift.
