Usually you get what you pay for. I would not cheap out for something that would hold my wheels on at critical moments.
You'd really pay about $570 for black lug nuts? I'd probably stick with chrome at that cost.

Probably... but some might be OCD and the look of chrome on black may set off a bit of insanity. I would just have to see it in person.

I love OEM parts and have no problem normally paying the premium to buy them, but is it me or are these lugs insanely overpriced?

Part Number: 82216113AA

The MSRP is roughly $95 for a set of 4 lugs. Compared to something like this, which is less than $95 for a whole set: https://www.justforjeeps.com/gorilla-factory-black-jl-lugs.html#tab-reviews

Does anyone have the OEM black lug nuts? Would love to know if you feel like their quality far surpasses what competitors offer.
I actually have and reviewed those lug nuts...

No way, not on lug nuts. Too thick and will chip off easy when an impact is used.

Powder coat has it’s place, but in some situations it’s a bad choice.

Would'nt these look like crap after a couple of tire rotations?

Yes. I knew that was a risk when I bought my set, but they were new and only $40, and thus an inexpensive experiment.

More to the point, I've the original chrome lugs on hand for redeployment, if or when I tire of tidying up the appearance of the black ones.

I have had several sets of the Gorrilla on different vehicles and never had any complaints. They are worth the price and I'm sure they are equal to or better than the Mopar ones

Just did 5 tire rotation for the 4th time. The OEM chrome lug nuts still hold up fine. The black ones look better though.

I'm currently using gorilla on my JLUR. I put mopar on my wife's grand Cherokee and have noticed no difference in quality over the past year. I use hand tools for tire rotations since impact tools tend to chip the black lugs.
