Odometer

I swear my odometer is lying to me. It seems every time I drive it it adds 300 miles to it. I never drive the damn thing. Also if I go into gps settins the gps says the total travel is 42 miles more than the odometer. How is that possible?

How about measuring gasoline usage ? For example , 10 gals @ 20 mpg , ought to be about 200 miles , si ?

Did you buy used or new? Maybe they had bigger tires on it and sold it with the stock smaller ones. Never recalibrated back?
