Odometer (interrogation record)

Hi there,

Was browsing JScan for other information and stumbled upon this Odometer “Historical Interrogation Record” field, under sensors > electrical power steering. The value as pictured below, is 49520 KM, however looking up odometer values elsewhere (stored in several places), as well as looking in the dash of the car, were at 31000 KM.

Any ideas as to what this “interrogation record” is symbolizing or calculated from, seeing as it’s different from other odometer readings?

That indicates the mileage of the module. Almost all the modules track their own mileage.

With what you're seeing there's a very high chance your EPS module was replaced with a used unit as some point. The fact all the other modules are displaying the same module reinforces that fact.

Interesting, thanks for extra context. This EPS module, which part(s) is actually being tracked here for reference?

The steering gear, eg 68507571AB or 68247930AF steering pump etc — do you know?

We have no official Jeep dealerships with any kind of experience working on these Wranglers, so it’s a figure it out yourself type of deal.
