I have had many electrical issues with my 4XE, some or all of them relating to incorrect seating of the fuses from the factory. Then the radio's FM and AM function quit working. Took it back to the original dealer for a fix, which they did, sort of, because the radio has quit again.
All of the other functions of the radio work as they should...just the AM/FM doesn't work. I tried changing the antenna but that did nothing. Any one else have this issue and how was it fixed? I'm tiring of all these problems and Jeep seems not to care.

Are you saying that it won't turn on or that you don't get reception?

Sounds like the antenna is disconnected at the head unit. I'd have the dealership check it if it's still under warranty.

When you have issues, take them into the dealership anyways. Look into your state's lemon law. You may want (or NEED) to take advantage of it.

If you censor yourself into doing nothing, then you're only going to have yourself to blame if you're stuck with a broken vehicle. You've got to chase that stuff down and make sure it gets fixed. And if you keep having to get things fixed, you've got to chase down your state's lemon law.

It's that or do nothing and complain about what a raw deal you got. I know a couple of people like that, actually. They'd rather get run over so they can tell everyone how badly they were treated.
