Radio apps

So I have. A 2024 and on the radio head I do not have the hybrid pages, trail maps, and on off road pages with all the gauges the oil temp and oil pressure just have two dashes… they don’t work. Anyone have same issues? Dealer does not know how to fix…

I’ve had different issues but not those. My suggestion if you haven’t already done it is to make sure all your fuses are seated properly. Take the cover off of the fuses and press each one down firmly. Then perform a factory reset on the radio head unit. It takes about twenty minutes to do the factory reset.

In your settings go to the vehicle app
Settings -> reset-> factory reset
Let it reboot completely and leave it alone for 30 minutes or so.

I shut the Jeep off and walked away because it takes a while for everything to reload. When you execute the factory reset it will even warn you about certain options not being immediately available afterwards.

Come back later, start it up and see if that didn’t solve your problems.

It’s different for a ‘21 vs a ‘24.

With the Jeep on, pull fuse 97 in your fuse box (PDC) and than put it back, shut it off and walk away for a while.
Your radio will reboot and also take a half hour, if not more, to reload/relearn your Jeep.

You won't get the trail maps (Trails off road) unless you have the nav option.

If you do have the nav option, for some as yet undisclosed reason trails off road won't automatically deploy to your radio and you need to get @JeepCares involved to make that happen. It's still a mystery why it's not rolled out to all eligible.

Not accurate anymore. I never got them involved, did the factory reset on my own and the TOR app loaded just fine.

I’m 100% positive the factory reset pushed an update to the Uconnect when it came back online. This was three days after taking delivery.
The thing is basically a computer and just like turning on a computer/ipad/new phone for the first time it’s a good idea to check for updates if the device doesn’t do it on its own.

still don’t have the off road app. Could it just take longer to update?

The offroad app is only available on the 8.4” uConnect on the ‘18-‘23 model years.

On my old '21 uconnect, after a dealer service where they disconnected the battery, I noticed my color/theme settings were different, and that the apps were missing. I freaked out, but read this forum and found that this often happens after power reset. I calmed down, drove home, and the next day all was restored and well with the world.
