I need to install some bump stop extensions to keep my new longer shocks from bottoming out. I’ve narrowed it down to these two, and I’m looking for opinions from those who own these. Thanks in advance.

They’ll both work, but the teraflex is a 2” kit which is ok if that’s exactly what you need, but until you cycle the suspension you won’t know exactly what you need. The RK is a 2-4” bump kit. More adjustability with 1” pucks..for this reason I’d recommend getting the RK bump kit…….

Teraflex sells .5” stackable spacers designed to work with their kit, so it is adjustable too…

Ok…. Have you cycled the suspension, it will tell you the exact amount, which will help you determine what to get…. The brand really is irrelevant in this situation…… since you linked those two choices, I just recommend the adjustable version…..

I have flexed the Jeep on a ramp and from the looks of it, I’ll need a good 2” to keep the shocks from bottoming out. Both kits are priced right and adjustable. I am a fan of RK in general, and will be getting a 2.5” Flex kit soon, but I wouldn’t be opposed to the TF bumps provided I can find some positive feedback.

Both of those are nice kits.

We really like the TeraFlex kits because they are adjustable in 1/2" increments.

Other kits that are pretty cool-

Those Rock Jocks are pretty nice! I’ll probably go with the Teraflex ones though since they are half the price and in stock!

I went ahead and ordered the TF bumps; will report back after I install them. Thanks to @Roky and @Northridge4x4
This thread learned me something…..teraflex has 1/2” bumps, I’ll probably snag me a couple, even though my 3/4” nut is exactly a 1/2”…….. you can laugh, I have been for a couple years,…?……you can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy……...? …… @Tredsdert would be proud…..?

I came across that pic when I was researching bump stops. If it works, it works!

Metalcloak also has a nice set of bump stops that are adjustable via stacking. They pair nicely with their DuroSpring bumps…especially if you own a diesel and are always in the bumps.
