North TX/Dallas area trails

So I will be in Dallas in early June and will have a free weekend with the Jeep. I plan on hitting the badge trail at Northwest OHV trails and maybe heading to Barnwell Mt? Any other trails/spots to hit within a couple hrs of Dallas while I am out there?

Believe it or not but, cross bar ranch in Davis OK is also only about 2hrs away.

I would definitely check the forecast for Northwest OHV. That place is a swamp when it rains.

If you're badge hunting the only other one that is sort of close is Hidden Falls Aventure Park, about 3.5hrs South.

Nice, as Jun gets closer lets see what the weather is looking like and decide on Saturday or Sunday, I could even do Friday.

Alright I made it to TX. Weather looks decent so should not be too muddy. My plan is to arrive a little before noon on Saturday in Bridgeport then hit the trails. PM me if you plan on meeting up and I will send my phone #.

I ride Bridgeport frequently and was there last weekend. It’s in pretty good shape. Are you looking for mellow trails or challenging trails? I could highlight a few either way.
