This is my first jeep, and I haven't really had any major mainteance issues in the past (with other vehicles). I have a 2018 JLU sport. I purchased brand new 4 months ago, and it has 4000 miles on it. Noticed a small oil leak. Took to the dealership, they took a quick look and said a seal was leaking, but had to bring it back because they didn't have a tech trained to work on it. I bring it back.. fast forward a day later, they call and tell me they ordered the wrong part and instead of 1 day, it will be another day because it is some main seal and now they have to remove the transmission, oil cap etc etc. Call back the next day... Jeep is still not ready. gonna be another day.. call back the next day.. still not ready.. Call today... They are wrapping it up.. no call back... 2 hours later I call them back and find out... they put the jeep back together and the bolts etc arent lining up.. They have to take everything back apart and going to be another day... or maybe Monday since they are closed on Sunday. So what was supposed to be a 1 day job is now a week without my BRAND NEW jeep!!!

Is this normal for Jeep maintenance??? I've read stories...this has me beyond pissed off, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it except drive this POS loaner they gave me.

Yah.. I assumed that to be the case. I have tried to be reasonable with the advisor on the phone because I don't know Jeeps well enough to know if this is normal for an issue like this, but it doesn't sound like it from people I have spoken with.

Update....picked up my jeep today finally. Drive 20 mins off the lot. I'm broken down on the busiest interstate in Orlando. Engine overheating and coolant leak...woot.

Moral of the story. If you live in Orlando, do not take your jeep to Napleton Jeep Kissimmee for service.

Some of these employees at the dealerships seem like a bunch of monkeys f**king a football... I mean, serious incompetence is what I'm gleaning from this poor man's experiences... Wow..

Hmmm bolts not lining up...sounds like "we stripped the threads" in dealer language

Keep bringing it back to them or another dealer until it’s fixed. Then when they continue to **** it up, get your ducks in a row for a lemon law claim. Also get Jeep Cares involved, not that it will necessarily help much.
