OK, It was me.... I profusely apologize to any that I may have offended, and if I haven't offended you yet just give me a chance, it takes time working through this many Jeepers. On Road, Off Road, Crappy Road does it Really matter?? Just be happy and Jeep ON!

Oh, I should also state that I am a victim of Jeep shaming myself! I have an uppity snobby son who drives a 94 Cherokee 10" lift, 40" tries on Beadlocks, on board compressor, blah blah blah. Oh yeah don't forget the dents, all the dents.... all I get is Hey Dad you ever gonna take that thing off road or is it gonna be a Pavement Princess it's whole life??? It's ok I shut him right up with, hey Son when are you gonna move out or do you plan to live here your whole life??
To shame or not to shame, that is the question!

We all have different needs for our Jeep’s. Some like to off road them hard, some just easy scenic trails, some for getting through bad weather and some just because they have more character then a Tesla or Honda.
Lots of excellent comments in this thread. This is really really well said.

lol - I may be the anti-poser.

People have praised my roof rack and asked about my adventures with it, in what I sense sometimes is some vicarious desire to hear about tails/trails with my JL in the wild, where I've "hunted for my meals with my bear hands."
I usually take my bear hands off and just hunt with my regular human hands. ;)

I don't shame for not off-roading, but paying a premium for a convertible then never taking the top off is shameful. This ain't no G-Wagon!
Now that i agree with. Like if you have a soft top and never take it off. That i dont get! Hardtops can be tricky, so I understand if someone doesnt ever fully remove it...but soft tops???

The best part of owning a Jeep is making it your own and doing what you want with it. Whether that’s off-roading or mall-crawling, who gives a sh*t what anyone else thinks. I’ll never go rock crawling with my Jeep because I don’t want to break anything, but I have done light trails. Most of the miles on my Jeep are just driving wherever with my kids and the top down.
Love this entire comment, but especially the part about the kids.

I will put it out there.
I got the winch bc it looked bada$$ with my bumper. I will never use it. Im actually afraid of them. However, if someone was in a jam, I would def allow them to use Her Highness and her winch. I'm a winch poser.

For hardtops, you just have to be able to overhead press 185 lbs.

Gram taught me...
"Be the smartest one in the room, never let them know. Threaten with a smile"
I learned a lot while guys divulged their secrets thinking i was just a pretty face... but yeah... im a genius. Literally.
Hey? Contradicting yourself? You just let everyone know! They probably figured it out about 800 post back anyway. Your replies are pretty quick wit. That was a dead give away!

Your Gram probably read the Art of War by Sun-Tzu.

And with all the info i leak on here, someone could write my bio no probs. Im too old to just not be blunt and honest and i love the forum and its members!

That's pretty darn cool!! I like how you can store it and take it with you.

I think I'll just work on getting my overhead press strength up. Yep, in about 4 years, I should finally be able to take the 3rd top off. Looking forward to it.
