“Over drive your headlights….” Like that should be a concern in a modern car. Yes maybe back when we had horses and buggy’s

I can't speak for the Jeep LEDs but the projector beams in my Ram have a sharp cutoff and they are, in my opinion, dangerous on hilly country roads if I can't have the high beams on. When approaching a hill, the cutoff hits the road way too close to the vehicle. I can't help but outdrive my lights, even at 25mph. It is beautiful bright HID light then absolute darkness. If someone or something was just on the other side of the cutoff I don't think I'd see them. And, yes, my lights are aimed correctly. Actually they are aimed high in my attempt to see.The factory LEDs have an absolute precision cutoff. If they're aimed correctly they will not blind anyone .

Are the Jeep LEDs this way?
“I love my basic factory Wrangler headlights”.Drove our 2023 JLU in the dark last night for the first time. I ordered the Wrangler without the LED lighting. No regrets, the factory halogens light up the road just fine. If you don't over drive your headlights like you were supposed to be taught in drivers education, you will have no issues seeing what is necessary in front, or to the side of you. Also living in a snowy State, I don't have issues with snow/ice building up on the lights. I have been driving for over 45 years, and never had an issue driving at night without the aid of LED lighting. I spent the $1200.00 Jeep would have charged me for factory LEDs, and bought lots of accessories I actually got use out of. When it comes to off-roading, that's a different scenerio than normal street driving, which is all I do.
I think the OP intended this to be one of those rare "positive statements" about JL and, like usual in this forum, it went south.
Its all relative in my world driving at night:
2020 Explorer LED lights- Holy shit it's like a bright clear day!
2021 JL halogen - Damn, these lights are WAY better than YJ.
1995 YJ - I can see WAY better with square headlights.
1996 Dodge Ram - Are my headlights even on?!
It's your opinion, you're entitled to it.I figure when I finally can't stand the crap headlights, I can just swap them out with aftermarket lights. I prefer the look and I saved money. Win win. But I'll sit here and wait for y'all to tell me why my opinion is wrong.
My wife's Mercedes steers the lights into the curve. It's pretty awesome when carving tight roads.Does the LED package have cornering lights? That's something that I miss.

Yeah, her Mercedes has been incredibly reliable. No check engine lights. No derating. No "service electronic stability control" error messages where it becomes challenging AF to drive.agreed.
really bitchin' (when it's working ? ).
