I have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6L. When the temperature drops below -25C (-13F) my battery loses voltage which is understandable but once the vehicle starts the battery continues to lose voltage. I've seen it drop all the way to 6V. I've had it at 3 different dealerships and they keep telling me the battery and alternator are fine. The battery was replaced once, they did a flash/update to the BPCM and most recently adjusted some pins in the BSCM

I'm just spitballing here, but that sounds like a malfunctioning alternator forcing your vehicle's electrical system to function as Total Loss, as illustrated by the steep drop in battery voltage (which in isolation can permanently damage a battery that isn't designed for deep discharge & recharge cycles.) Possibly that's what compelled the battery replacement that's already occurred.

Has the alternator been separately tested for proper operation? By way of example, our chains, like Advance Auto, provides that service gratis. Perhaps Canadian Tire offers something similar to its customers.

I'm not sure if it has. I'd like to think so but who knows nowadays. I'll have to quiz them about that and maybe look else where to get it done.

Is it possible this is along the same issue with Teslas not charging when it’s wicked cold out?

sound like the 48 to 12v is not doing it job when cold.
Would not be surprised as other mentioned that the 48Volts batt is just draining all the juice starving the rest when cold.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try and get the techs to inspect these options

X2 on that. I think you can stop off at some Auto Parts stores and they can do a test on your ALt on the vehicle.

The other option is to move South of the Mason Dixion Line...

Update...
This weekend I learned if I start the vehicle with command start (FOB or App) it draws the battery down to a low voltage warning (11.5V or lower) and shuts off. Then I go start it manually it stays running and once the engine warms up the voltage goes back to 14V. This morning I decided to not use command start and start it manually and had no voltage drops. Is it safe to assume there's an issue with the command start?
