I'm looking at putting a set of 35s on my new Rubicon.

Any feedback on this tire would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had these on my 14 JKU. They were a solid tire. I live in Florida where it rains alot in the summer and they handled wet roads great. Also were quiet and wore evenly. My fuel economy only dropped about 1 mpg when I went to these from stock. Never had them offroad however.

I'm running a set of 305/55/20 Nitto G2s right now and they have done great for the last 18 months. Wearing well, not to noisy and look great! I would definitely by them again...

Out of the dozens of offroad tires on the market, the Nitto is one of the only tires that gets bad reviews on a somewhat regular basis. I've kind of avoided them for that reason.

My buddy did run them though, and got horrible wear out of them. Had alignment checked twice, rotated them, etc. and they just didn't last. He also said the rain and snow traction was pretty sub-par for an all-terrain tire.

Kind of unrelated, but funny: I did just put a brand spanking new set of Nitto tires on my Ford Mustang last week and had a horrible steering wheel vibration. Went to a shop that can do road force balancing and one of the tires was faulty. The road force numbers were horrendous. The tire actually visually wobbled while spinning on the machine. Must have been a broken belt or something. Who knows.

Had similar problems with 35” KO2s on my truck - defective tire x2. This was the one time I strayed from nitto. Guess every brand has a rotten egg(s) every now and then.
