Hey guys, thanks for the details on the Venator! How are you liking it after some time? Also, we’re you coming from plastic or steel bumpers? I’m curious about the fog light mounting. Sounds like the mounts only work well for fogs that came from a plastic bumper.
Thanks!

Good looking bumper. I wish they made a stubby version. I would keep it the same, but lose the wings.
I have the Arcus installed right now and word from RR is late September early October for the Stubby version, I'm 99.9% sure I'll be switching to this bumper.

I was able to create a winch delete plate that works nicely as a cover panel and affixes to the bumper using the same fasteners. No drilling into the bumper was required.
Any chance of some photos?

I made the winch delete plate myself. Ordered the plate cut to the right dimensions from a local metal guy then painted it myself.

The overrider bar does not show up on the camera but the front tow hooks do. I kind of use the tow hooks as a measuring marker because I've learned how close I am to things based on where the hooks show up in relation to objects.

Here is my Venator. I love the look of this bumper. After reading a few reviews that weren't real positive, I was a little leery about this bumper, but I was pleased with the quality and the install was fairly easy and went well. Instructions weren't the best but after watching a couple of You Tube videos it cleared things up. The bumper was packaged very well and arrived in excellent shape. A couple of hints to make your install go better if you decide to go with the Venator. I had to run to town a couple of times to pick up a couple of things. The 4 little M4 button head bolts were junk and a couple heads stripped out easily. I bought 4 phillips head bolts. They worked much better. Also you might want to use a tap to clean out the threads of any of the welded/powder coated nuts. Don't know if they were plugged or just didn't align right. Some were trouble but none stripped out for me. If you are installing the overrider/grill guard, do yourself a favor and get a 17mm stubby wrench. The long wrench will cause you nothing but aggravation.

Only issue is the drum of the winch is well hidden so it is hard to see how the line is spooling if you use the winch. I have no experience winching so don't know if this is a problem or not.

I've been torn between the MP Concepts and the Venator (like, REALLY REALLY torn), and now I see Amazon has the Venator on sale for $800 shipped. All that aside, how did the install go w/ the winch? Did you notice any fitment issues? Wires pinched? Any areas rubbing? Thanks in advance...she looks great!

I had no problems installing the bumper or the winch. I had seen complaints about the plastic fog light bezels not fitting but they seem to be on tight and still are in place. The wires are a tight fit but I would not consider them pinched. The wires are up against the grill and removing the grill now will probably not be an easy job as the bumper is quite close, about 1/4" gap. The only rubbing would be wire against the grill. My winch is a Warn VR Evo 8S. I assume the 10 and 12 are the same size. I like the look of this bumper more every day. Good luck with whatever bumper you go with.

Not too necro the post, but they do sell a stubby version of it now, just in case you didn't know.
