I like the insane audio option for the better IP rating over the stinger option. That’s what I’ll be going with eventually.
60K for the jeep, I want something basic like Carplay to work, and not have to swap a new radio, I appreciate the recommendation

The center console USB port is known to be flaky AF. Some people have no issues, others have problems. I use the CarLinkIt Wireless adapter, and it wold disconnect constantly in the center console. Added a USBA > C adapter from Amazon that others were using and it works fine now.

I don't think it helps with the actual phone being plugged in there though.

My theory is that the wiring to center console is too thin and loses too much current running back there and causes issues. Just my SWAG.
From the other posts, it seems like the wire is loose or crimped --> lack of quality control. Jeep isn't going to care about QC when they are selling like hot cakes.
