New Method 701 question

I like these new wheels from Method. They are going to be a great light weight option that has some technology built into them to keep the tire bead seated with lower air pressure in them.

We are a dealer if you want another quote before you buy.

Not really. I just called Method and they said the 17" version weighs 30.4 pounds. Light for a bead lock replacement maybe?

Hub rings required? New lug nuts required?

I just called Method and they said the 701, Con 6, Vex, and Roost (basically all the 5x5 wheels with push-through caps) have a center bore of 71.5mm. I forgot to ask about lugs. @GRAK can you provide this info?

Really liking this wheel. I'm looking into the bronze version to go with my white JLUR, but need to photoshop it first to see how it looks.

I did see a different bronze Method wheel on display at a local off-road shop and thought it looked realllly nice. It just wouldn’t go well w/ my yellow Jeep... white, I’d be all over it.

Just ordered a set of 5 MR701s with BFG's new KM3 in LT295/70/17. Went with a slightly smaller tire (compared to a 35 or 315) since I have a two door and don't plant on lifting more than 1 or 2 inches. The 295 is about an inch taller than the stock LT285 K02 and less than a half inch wider. Hoping to avoid having the tire stick out too far from the fenders.

Looks great! I edited this post to remove the question on whether or not it was lifted. I read in another of @GRAK 's posts that is was not lifted and did not rub on while mild offroading with gulleys and moguls.

Yeah, not really a light wheel. Per a phone call to Method, they weigh 30.4 lbs. Mine arrive today and UPS shows they are 30.0 lbs, even. All 5 boxes state the same weight, which is suspect. I'll weight them tonight or tomorrow and report back.
