Keep looking, way better options out there!
I'm about to order that wheel this Friday from 4 wheel parts. What wheel do you recommend. I'm looking at 17x8.5 using stock rubicon tire that don't stick out too much

I like them very much. But I have Granite colored Jeep and I believe they would look good.

I like these new wheels from Method. They are going to be a great light weight option that has some technology built into them to keep the tire bead seated with lower air pressure in them.

We are a dealer if you want another quote before you buy.

I like them a lot as I am not a fan of the fake bead lock style.

Same, I am eyeballing them as well. No more fakery pls

getting 5 new wheels and 5 new tires to the tire joint for swapping out will be interesting in a 2 door rubi

I’m curious if the 0 offset is going to be too much poke with the rubicon axles and 315mm tires.
I don’t like fake bead locks nor wheels/tires sticking out way past the fenders. Love the wheels though. Wish they would offer a +25 offset. There aren’t many options for a 35” tire with less than a 315mm width tire.

“No plans on doing other sizes or offsets.

We wanted these to be the same size and offset as our other styles.”

Post some pics with them on the Jeep when you get them. Been looking into them as well but waiting to see how much they stick out before I buy.

Looks like a great option, especially the bead grip design to hold the tires. I'll keep an eye on these for sure.

I had Mammoth Boulder wheels on my last Jeep and really love the simple 5 spoke design. So I was looking into @McBeevee Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme for the same look but with more load rating until I saw these.

  • Method 701 Wheels 17x8.5 4.75 backspacing unknown offset load rating 3640 lbs $219.50ea
  • Mammoth Boulder Black Wheels 17x9 4.7 backspacing -6mm offset load rating 1521lbs $149.99ea
  • Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme 17x9 4.75 backspacing -6.35mm offset load rating 2100lbs $149.99ea

I really like AEV because they build wheels specific to the Wrangler with regard to the offset, center bore, etc. I'm going to see what they come up with before I decide. imho
