I got the Oracle Oculus Bi-LED Projector Headlights; Matte Black Housing; Clear Lens from Extreme Terrain for Christmas. I installed them and I’m not sure if I’m just not used to LED’s but the line at the top, where the shutters stop the beam from going more vertical, seem more jagged than I thought it would. I was really expecting more of.a straight line across. Does anyone else have these headlights, and if so, do they do the same? I’ve tried to see if I could loosen them and readjust to get rid of this but nothing seems to clear it up. I love the headlights otherwise and this isn’t something that will make me decide to go away from them, but if there’s something I can do to fix this, or if they are just defective, I’d like to pix it. Thoughts? The only adjust meant on them is a vertical adjustment, and this doesn’t change that at all.

They are set correctly for horizontal location. I had a tough time getting the vertical cut off in the right place. It will take a bit to get used to the very sharp beam cutoff, but I do like the amount of light with the high beams. Where I live it will mean the difference in seeing the deer lurking on the road edges.

While I do like these lights I will admit the bright white is a bit harsh to look at driving opposite direction.

So there is a way to get rid of the 2, for lack of a better description, notches? I circled them on this picture…

You won’t notice this while you’re driving. Do the height test for measuring them off the ground, and then raise your passenger side one just a smidge higher for furry things on that side of the road.

This is 100% by design so you don’t blind oncoming traffic. Mine are exactly the same.

The notches help cut the light into oncoming traffic. I dropped my driver's side light a bit lower than the other to reduce the glare for traffic as well
