Noticed this on my JL a couple weeks ago, finally got around to looking at it more today. The passenger side of the crossmember that runs behind the radiator is damp. I don't see any coolant anywhere from the radiator, and this fluid seems pretty clear and oily - not watery at all. My first thought was maybe it's from me fluid filming back in October, but it doesn't quite smell like that. No real odor from what I can tell. All the fluids seem okay. I checked all the hydraulic hoses in that area and don't see anything obviously leaking. Snapped a few pics. Any ideas? I have the 3.6 and just hit 90k. Sprayed everything down with brake cleaner so we'll see if it comes back.

It does look Fluid Filmy and Fluid Film is only temporarily stinky. Could this be a spot where it didn't get worn off over the winter? Can't tell. But cleaning and seeing if it returns will answer that question.

I just went through this with mine and I cleaned it up really good and nothing showed back up a real head scratcher for sure.

If you got it good and clean and it comes back, try to get a drop on a clean white paper towel. Should help you identify potential color.
