Anyone get the new Jeep app? Mine said the old one was going away but haven't changed yet.

My old one pushed me to the new one but only information for 1 of my 4 Jeeps was transferred.

Didn't realize there was a new one. I've used the My Mopar app occasionally, and it works fine, if a little slow. After seeing this post, I tried to sign in to the Mopar app and it crashed each time. Downloaded the Jeep app, and it worked. My Jeep was listed with my recent recall work shown as complete.

Just like all things Jeep, it works for some, but not others.

I also checked the Uconnect app, and it acted normally. But it looks like the Jeep app has a lot of the same info and functionality.

What a mess.

I upgraded to the new app… my new Jeep transferred over just fine. My older Jeep didn’t transfer over and it turns out the agent you have to speak with is with SiriusXM… It’s a cash grab. They try multiple tactics and transfers you around several times to get you to sign up for Uconnect service by SiriusXM at $12.99 a month. They can keep it. The new app also doesn’t have the owners manual in it. It’s pretty useless.

Not sure which one you're referring to, since I have a uConnect app and some other OEM Jeep app, one of which randomly 'dings' either my uConnect or my smartphone with ghost notifications that aren't there. Kept checking the uConnect app to see what it was, but it eventually stopped connecting to their servers until I manually checked for an update.

Still not sure what the random "ding" I'm hearing is, but yesterday it did it exactly as I started to wave to another Jeep, so I'm just gonna pretend it's a nifty radar for spotting other Jeepers ?

Otherwise, both apps are pretty useless and/or annoying, with most of the functionality being something that could be hosted in a regular web portal.

This is the new app (the old one is called "My Jeep" and is no longer available to download).

i followed the recommendation in the White app to move to the Black app, and found that the Black app doesn’t show any recalls although the White one still show 2.

whatta’ we want for free, eh?

I haven't used uConnect in a while. Because of this thread I tried to open it, and it prompted me that the app was defunct and to load the new Jeep app, which I did. Fortunately, my Jeep info ported over. I have now deleted the uConnect app.
