Hi everybody, I'm new here, and for the first time doing some work on my new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport JL (4 door). I'm planning on puting a new front and rear bumper, and running boards. I'm really undecided between the 2.5" lift with 33" tires or the 3.5" lift with the 35" tires. I would say that 80% of my ride will be regular road and maybe a 20% if such (maybe less) a little bit of off-road just to get to a farm (maybe 5 miles) and maybe beach sand once in a blue moon. Haven said that, I would really appreciate your wisdom and opinions. What I'm the most concerned about is to try to keep the smooth ride I have right now, dont increase the noise and dont mess with the electronics and transmision mechanics. thanks in advance.

2-2.5" is in your best interest. It will reduce the amount of parts that you need to replace. For your use, it sounds like a spacer lift may be best. It maintains the factory suspension and ride quality but gives you a little extra space for the larger tires. The Rough Country 2.5 spacer kit is very popular.

If you don’t want to big you could do a rubicon take off. It’ll add a little over an inch to 1.5”. Finish it off with some rubicon take offs too if you like that look and stance. Let me know if we can help. Have several sets setting on the shelf

I would recommend spending a lot of time looking through pictures of different lift setups prior to deciding. It's very common to think the shorter lift will suffice then want to go taller.
