Watched a interview from SEMA show last week where the rep from Go Rhino was talking about their new E-boards that they just came out with.
I was impressed with way they looked when retracted on the 4dr wrangler. They very much resemble the factory rock rails on the rubicons. A big plus also is that they are 6 inches wide, come with 2 different finishes and also come with LED lights.
So I ordered a set and installed them last night and finished today. These are better looking in person than their videos and are quieter than I expected. The bed liner coating I optioned for is very well done and durable.
Now these are not for rock crawling by any means.
But they sure make it nice getting in our Jeep’s with the 35’s and recon package much more pleasant.
I had a set of Aries brand before on a 4xe and they worked well but were too skinny and they were too short at the back door for me to spend the money again.
Anyway that’s my 2cents if anyone is pondering what’s out there. These are priced right and look great.

Had a video of it working but apparently the file was to big.
Anyway here’s a few pics. Very happy with boards.
I got them from NAPA online. They had 20 percent off last week.

Those look really good! How was the install? Could someone with very little electrical experience do it relatively easily?

Also, do you happen to have a pic of the boards retracted that show how far they stick out along the side of the vehicle?

Mounting the boards was easy. Running the wires is mostly under the vehicle and on top of the frame rail on the passenger side up and over the wheel well to the battery. Did it all myself and took 5 hours total. The instructions that come with it are 95 percent correct. The black and white pictures could definitely use some improvement. I ended up installing my cut off switch in the console as opposed to the dash.
The whole system is very well thought out especially with 2 motors on each board, and led lamps come with it. It’s a no drill system which is nice.
I did have to call tech support one time. Turns out I had 2 wires in the wrong connectors. It’s nice to actually talk to someone who can help you and is willing.
Anyway these things look like factory rails but a little beefier. I got the optional bed coating instead of smooth surface. Definitely the way to go.
Would recommend these to anyone who needs the extra element of getting in and out.
Not for the rock crawlers but 90 percent of us they are great.
Get your part number and search for the best deal. Mine was Napa at 20% off.
I can bet these prices will increase by summertime because the competition is way up there.
