RB20 Slim Side Steps Go Rhino

I recently installed the RB 20 Go Rhino slim line running boards.
I installed them backwards and actually like the look better. It also helps my kids get in the back seat easier.
Do you think I'll run into problems in the future?
Does it look ridiculous the way I installed them?

I actually think those are great looking side steps. I get mud on my pant leg from mine. They stick out a bit more.
