Hello,
I installed Oracle headlights a while back, and it required me to patch into my cigarette lighter fuse (20A) to utilize the halos. Now I cannot use the cigarette lighter for any accessories. It’s not the accessory because it works fine on the rear port. Do I need to up the fuse or something? The attached picture is the accessory I’m trying to use. Thanks for any help!

The existing fuse size should be ok. I'd be suspect that somehow the 12VDC power to the lighter socket has been somehow interrupted. Did you use one of these or similar to tap in to the fuse?

Yup! Exactly that. Was supplied by Oracle in the kit.

You may be able to find an unused fuse position in the PDC and just put the Cig Lighter power back the way it was.

I have the 20A fuse in the “upper” slot. Does that mean the bottom slot requires a 20A in it as well?

Yes, one fuse is for the new circuit (Oracle); the other fuse is for the old circuit (lighter). It is also important that the adapter is installed in the correct orientation. If your new lights are working that suggests that it is oriented correctly, so will only need to add a second fuse. Oracle should have provided one?

I don’t recall. I DO remember trying to put the fuse in the lower hole and it wouldn’t go in without me forcing it so I didn’t. At least I know the answer now though. Thank you!

double check your fuse positions, they appear to be flipped, 20A goes in the bottom slot of the tap.

The OEM in that position is a 20A, the fuse provided by Oracle is a 5A (the colors are similar)

side note: I used the 5A OEM spare (circled in red) because the Oracle 5A fuse (provided) is a POS. The spades are oversized and it needs to be forced in.

I did this install 2 days ago.

Oooh, interesting!! Okay i wil double check.

Mine arent oracle but they are led and it is probably the same issue (the 5a). Its just weird that it was working fine until i plugged in that air compressor.

I wonder if Oracle is having supply problems. Installed LEDs a few days ago and both fuses fit fine.

my other issue was the red wire (circled in blue) isn't actually that long.
It's provided at the same length as the grounding lug wire.

I had to splice in a length to avoid crushing it with the fuse box cover like
OreoJeep appears to have done (circled in magenta). I ran mine behind the fuse box at the firewall.
