Help: Problem tapping tow hitch power

Installed cube lights in my rear bumper and wanted to connect to reverse light. There are several threads walking through this. I followed those and tapped the white/orange wire but there’s no power. In fact there is no power to any of the tow hitch wires.

Any suggestions on how to debug?

It is really hard to trouble shoot from here.............

Did you use a 7 pin tester to see what it indicates ... whether your 7 pin hitch is working correctly?

On your cube lights ... you 100% sure you grounded them properly? Check you ground.

Also, check these fuses:

I did not use a 7 pin tester. I’ll look into that.

I just checked if there was power on any of the tow hitch wires.

Fairly sure I grounded the lights properly. I have the lights working connect to aux3 and grounded so I know the lights are working.

I don’t get any power on the white and orange or the red power cable.

Well, if they are working with Aux 3 ... when you press Aux 3 switch, then they are indeed grounded properly.

DO test with a 7 pin tester!

Hope you are planning to use 2 diodes with your install of both Aux 3 and power from 7 pin.

FIXED. The tow hitch power was unplugged during the replacement of the bumper and never reconnected.
