I wonder if Oracle is having supply problems. Installed LEDs a few days ago and both fuses fit fine.
most likely because the fuse provided to me is really bad.
I couldn't get it seated unless I used pliers. Decided not to do that.

Oof! I didnt even notice the box was crushing it ;(

my other issue was the red wire (circled in blue) isn't actually that long.
It's provided at the same length as the grounding lug wire.

I had to splice in a length to avoid crushing it with the fuse box cover like
OreoJeep appears to have done (circled in magenta). I ran mine behind the fuse box at the firewall.

You can always add some length of wire of the same guage to give you more distance. Routing the cable to the "back" of the fuse box is a good idea. I persoanlly notched the fuse box a little to let the wire pass without being crushed or crimped.

You can also use F43 or F45 (ignition) for the halos.

You may be able to find an unused fuse position in the PDC and just put the Cig Lighter power back the way it was.
F43 or F45 (ignition) will work

How did you verify that that the fuses aren't blown?

If the 5a fuse is in the wrong spot and you plugged in a compressor - it's definitely blown if the circuit isn't open somewhere else.

I took it out and looked and it doesnt appear to be blown.

How would i check if the circuit is open?
My entire dash area (where the cig lighter is) still lights up and everything. Is that a good sign somehow that this is an easy fix?

I think im going to notch it as well, even tho its already crushed slightly.

If you don't have a meter or a test light, just change the fuse and see if the outlet works. If you verify the fuse is good, or change it with a new one and it still doesn't work, you have a broken or disconnected wire somewhere. If the circuit is open (which isn't likely), you'll need to physically trace the wire from the fuse box to the outlet to find the break.

If your 5a fuse is in the bottom slot (using your pic for reference), that's your problem. It's going to the outlet and the heavy load from the compressor blew it.

You can always find replacements for this at auto parts stores or an online search, if it needs replacing.
