After Saturday's success plastidip spraying my JLUR grill, I was determined on Sunday to take the door hinges off and spray them as well. Was not successful. One of the torx bolts nearly stripped out and is now gnarled up pretty bad. I was able to hammer the torx bit into it and get a strong grab, so strong that I actually snapped the square head off a socket wrench.
Couple of questions:
1. Should I be unable to live with the bolt being an eye-sore, what would be the best method to get this bolt to unlock and be removed?
2. Is there a better alternative to the torx bolts used for the door hinges? If so, where can these be purchased?
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.
