I'll answer "If I start my 2020 Jeep Rubican by using a fused jumper between N1 to N2 on my dual AGM battery JL, how long can I leave and how long last?"
This prevents the vehicle from separating the batteries. It alone does not prevent one battery from cannibalizing the other. It does allow the cable from the negative terminal of the Aux battery to be disconnected from the negative terminal of the main battery (and taped up at its end.) It does not require it though.
It does not prevent ESS, although its recommended to turn ESSt off as you'll be taxing the battery during ESS events (the main) primary tasked with cranking the engine when the ESS event ends.
I can't speak to how you dealer may not like this change from factory. My guess is they don't care.
This is not some change that proves harmful over time. People have done it, or disconnected Fuse 42--which accomplishes the same thing, and disconnected the Aux battery as well as turned off ESS, and run successfully for years and 1000s of miles.
