First Trip to Moab - to tow or not to tow?

I'm debating about towing my jeep on a flat bed to Moab from Arizona (about 8hr drive). My thought is the "just in case" something happens to my jeep, or the 4 other jeeps, we would still be able to get home. Am I over thinking this? Your experienced advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice Sean. I would tow it on a flat bed trailer if I decided to go that route.

I have drove my JLUR from Michigan to Moab twice in one year. It really just depends on what you plan to do. I have ran all the badge trails. Can you crash it absolutely. You will just have to balance the risk that you are willing to take.
