That looks like the cover for your cabin air filter (behind the glove box)

Thanks! That was my first guess but wanted some confirmation before I started to dig around.

I’d look around in my oil pan for an extra quart of engine oil that probably shouldn’t be there as well.

Time for a trip back to the service writer for some ass reaming. If a tech can’t even put the lid back on the cabin air filter access door.....they most likely have totally phocccccckkkkkkkkked up something else along the route.

yup def clips into cabin filter behind glove box, right in front of air filter when u replace it.

Yep…on the first free one I got to go back for a new camera housing that miraculous broke when they rotated the spare.

At least you got your spare rotated. Off the top of my head, Jeep Wave only covered a four wheel rotation, during my last visit.

Glad it was an easy fix but sadly a sloppy/careless job. My first and only so far Jeep Wave OLF resulted in the top of the driver front fender being nicely scratched. Non painted so it won’t buff out. Noticed it on service drive upon delivery as I was checking for any damage and overfill before I left. Been a few months and still waiting on parts. I even took multiple pics around the vehicle across the street from dealer before pulling into service drive for appointment. You know for just in case.

Make sure they didn't take the old filter out and "forget" to replace it..

Oh man. I dunno. That sounds terrible and something that 100% never should have happened.

Many years ago I took my old Cruze into Chevy for an oil change. Got it back with the airbox still disassembled. Service guy got mad at me when I went off for them giving me back an unfinished car. Last time i was there for service.
