Images below of what I was referring to. My fault for not spotting at time of pick up but only so many things you can notice. Fairing on driver side hood I can fit my pink between fairing and hood. Window fairing on passenger side I can fit my thumb through. Gas cover you can see how it's shifted and now see holes underneath / on body.

I'm hoping don't have to make multiple trips to fix these issues. Really annoying.

Have you tried removing your fuel door?
No - I'm at a point where the hood fairing already needs to be fixed, most likely passenger side window fairing as well that the dealership might as well just handle all. Like I said, these are more annoyances than anything but still annoying to take time to have to deal with these issues. Hoping can knock everything out in 1 trip.

Wow yeah those do look bad. Other than my ignition/electrical issues at 1300 miles I've had no problems and certainly not gaps or misalignments you have shown. Those look to be an anomaly. Definitely should get those fixed under warranty.

Doncha' wonder how some vehicles can have terrible fit and blems and others perfect - off the same robotic assembly line. And then a person inspects them and somehow problems get by and shipped out.

And yet some member(s) on this forum claim they work in the inspections dept at the factory and have sworn on here that things like mismatched freedom panels, missing badges and stickers and such could not have happened at the factory. They've claimed their inspection process is too robust to have missed things like those...

It's my fault for not inspecting every inch of the JLUR at pick up. Reality is I drove out of my way to get this one because it had everything I wanted, was in a rush to get back to NYC and didn't think if there were issues they would be this bad.

Not great for a JLUR with $51K window sticker, I guess $50K doesn't go as far as it used to.

I wonder if a weld broke and everything shifted? Or, dropped when getting off truck. Something is definitely wrong OP.

I've got one of the very earliest JLs and other than the U62 recall (which damn near every Chrysler product has), I've had absolutely no problems, nor any other recalls. No welding problems, no steering issues, no missing freedom panel bags, nothing. My JL just hit 20k miles and, so far, it's been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

It seems like the very first batch of JLs, right at the very start, are only the ones with virtually no problems. It's like the assembly line was pure perfection for the first couple of months and then they just decided to screw off.

I don't know if I would say a weld broke or dropped off truck. The fairing on the hood I've seen loose on a bunch fo JLU's - I wrote a separate post about it months back and other people had the same issue. The gas cover I could see just loosening over time - the bigger concern is the fairing on passenger side.

I'm hoping Jeep doesn't try blaming the Rough Country LED bar on hood which has nothing to do with the fairing for the gap...

Probably had some paint or body issues and was fixed prior to hitting the lot.

To confirm, does anyone actually think there's a frame issue or my JLUR was dropped off a truck at delivery? I'm actually starting to not want to keep this thing for a while - even worse after putting $10K+ in parts into it.

ANYONE have any gap issues at all?
