Motor hesitation

Do you leave Electronic Start Stop enabled? If so, there will be a delay when trying to accelerate from a stop.

Are you the original owner, meaning the hesitation started to occur only recently? Was there engine work and/or a repair performed that might've inadvertently contributed to the issue?

The was my initial thought, but it also pauses when passing.

Thanks for the suggestion, I live in Arizona so with the heat the start stop never works while the AC is running, I turned it off and so far it seems to have fixed the problem. I will drive more in the heat of the day! Thanks to all that made suggestions!

I am a bit confused. Are you saying that it was the Start/Stop causing the issue? And you disabled the Start/Stop by running the AC? You are aware that there is a button that disables Start/Stop, correct?

I disabled the start stop by pushing the button, living in Mesa Arizona in the summer time we run the AC whenever we are driving because of the extreme heat, therefore the start stop never works because if it did work it would shut the engine down and the air conditioner would not put out cool air!
